Apostle Larry G. Brown, Sr. is a dynamic and visionary leader whose ministry is rooted in faith, perseverance, and a deep commitment to the community. He was raised in Chicago and attended Healing Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC), where his spiritual foundation was established. His call to ministry came during the Persian Gulf War, a transformative period in his life while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the military, he answered this call, becoming a licensed minister and ordained Elder.  

in April 2000, he co-founded Spirit of Truth Deliverance Church (SOTDC) under Evangelistic Deliverance Ministries, Inc., with his wife, Pastor Geneice. From humble beginnings in their home, SOTDC has grown into the nucleus and foundational ministry for a thriving community of faith. In 2010, Superintendent Brown established the Apostolic Fire District under the Western Georgia Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, COGIC, and served in the Virginia 4th Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, COGIC. In 2017, he established the Heart 4 The Community Initiative (H4TCI) with local leaders to address food insecurity, emotional support, and other community needs through practical and spiritual solutions.  

In 2019, he was elevated to Apostleship and established the Apostolic Fire Fellowship International (AFF Intl) under the Apostolic Kingdom Network. He serves as its Presiding Prelate, expanding his reach by providing spiritual oversight and mentorship to churches worldwide. In September 2022, Apostle Brown established Larry Brown Ministries: The Voice of Unity, a social ministry platform to foster collaboration, spiritual growth, and leadership development. 

As an extension of this platform, he is launching a podcast with the slogan "Let Me Help You With That," offering faith-focused teachings, practical ministry insights, and dynamic discussions. The podcast will feature engaging content such as interviews, Q&A sessions, and teachings aligned with his books and ministry vision. 

An accomplished author, Apostle Brown’s first book, Faith and Favor: A Winning Combination, outlines principles for overcoming life’s challenges through faith and favor. His upcoming book, How to Endure the Early and Lean Years of Ministry for pastors and ministry leaders to navigate uncertain times. Both works highlight his dedication to equipping others with tools for spiritual growth and resilience. 

Apostle Brown's leadership emphasizes prioritizing God, family, and ministry interactively as the Holy Spirit leads. His life and work are a testament to faith, perseverance, and obedience to God’s call.
